Bio
I’m David Lambert, a producer, game designer and University of Huddersfield graduate. I have a passion for all things media that came about from growing up with games and influential films like World of Warcraft, Lord of the Rings and so many others. At Crucible Gaming, I work on a variety of projects, supporting internal and external development teams all the way from concept to release, ensuring communication flows effectively and changes are reviewed then actioned upon by our development team. Before Crucible, my work consisted of two games, one of which won the "Best Game Award" at Game Republic 2020. I handled the production of the projects as well as most of the design.

Crucible Games
On Crucible projects, I worked on the design of the games, offering input on features and visuals to refine the product. During the development, I liaised with internal and external art companies to deliver assets to developers and resolve any issues throughout the creation of the games. It was also my responsibility to create and maintain documentation, including writing and arranging for localisation of Help Pages.
Partner Projects
For our Partner Projects, I worked as the primary point of contact between Crucible and Light & Wonder, producing review documents, providing builds and taking feedback from the client, organising it into tickets to then be actioned by the developers at Crucible. In addition I regularly aided the teams by tweaking and exporting artwork for them as necessary to support the development of a plethora of games, ranging from complex conversion projects to new bespoke games.
Wibble Wobble Wabble
Wibble Wobble Wabble is a ragdoll physics party brawler that was developed for a university module. I handled the production of the game, making use of agile/scrum methodologies and project management software like ClickUp. I also oversaw the design of the project, refining the systems within the game, implementing tools from programmers and creating a variety of levels through collaboration with artists. The game was featured at Yorkshire Games Festival during its alpha and received first place in the Best Game and Best Team categories at Game Republic 2020.My latest work on the project included marketing material production, in-game audio implementation and smaller system creation in UE4 blueprints.

Little Awesome Dudes (LADS)
Developed during my placement year at Canalside Studios, LADs is a VR tabletop simulation game. The player acts as the ‘god’ figure for small pawns on the tabletop, sending them to gather resources, build structures and venture into dungeons to find loot.I worked as the producer for the team, employing agile/scrum methodologies to rapidly prototype and iterate on systems throughout the short development cycle. I also designed the gameplay systems on the project. Additionally, I produced the marketing materials for the Steam page, handled in-game audio and created several smaller systems in UE4 blueprints.
